A Ladder League is a competitive format in Scoreholio where players or teams are grouped each round (or week) to play a full round robin against everyone in their group. After each round, players or teams are either promoted to a higher group or relegated to a lower group based on their performance. This system ensures balanced competition, with players continually moving up or down to face opponents of similar skill levels, keeping the matches both fun and competitive as the league progresses.

To add players or teams to a Ladder League, head to the Tournament Admin section as usual. In the Players/Teams tab, add all participants by listing them as either individual players or teams. Then, click on each player or team name to assign an initial ladder rank. This rank determines which starting group the players or teams will be placed in, helping to set balanced matchups from the beginning of the league.
For Set Teams or Singles Ladders: The number of rounds each team or player will play is based on a full round-robin format within their group.
Example 1: If there are 6 teams in a group, each team will play 5 rounds, meaning one match against every other team in their group.
Example 2: If there are 3 teams/players in a group, each team/player will play 2 matches, one against each of the other teams.
For Switcholio Ladders: Use the chart below to determine the ideal number of players per group based on the number of rounds you want each player to play:
