Starting a Tournament

After you have scanned or checked-in all of your players from Pre-Registration it is time to start your tournament. Here is a step by step guide for each type of tournament:

Starting a Blind Draw Tournament

Once all of your players have categorized you hit the "Randomize Players" Button

If you have an odd number of players the system will ask you if you would like to add a Ghost. One player will randomly be assigned to play by themselves.

Starting a Round Robin Tournament

After you have created your teams in a blind draw or checked-in your players/teams for other team generations you will click the start tournament button:

Clicking start tournament will only fill in 3 courts to start your tournament. If you have more than 3 courts click the advance game button to fill the rest of the courts

Starting Playoffs from a Round Robin

If you’re adding playoffs to a round robin tournament, click the “Playoffs” tab at the top of the admin interface.

Find and click the “Create Bracket” button. You will then need to do two things:

1. Select single or double elimination

2. Set the Bracket Size that indicates how many players or teams you want to place in the bracket.

🧙 Tips: if you make a mistake when creating the bracket, you can delete it and “create” it again.

Starting a Bracket Style Tournament

After you have created your teams in a blind draw or checked in your players/teams for other team generations you will click the start tournament button in a blind draw or the Create Bracket button for any other team generation

The Bracket creation screen is where you can change the seeding by clicking the "Change Seeding" button and dragging teams up and down.

You can also randomize seeding by clicking the "Randomize List" button. Reset will bring it back to the original order.

This is also where you will set up Best of for your bracket.
