Configure optional credit charges for tournament submissions.
Organizer credits let a season charge organizers for submitting tournaments. Set up credit rules, credit packages and the point-option credit cost before requesting submissions.
❓ What are Organizer Credits in Scoreholio Seasons?
A credit is a unit used for a season submission charge. It is separate from a player's membership, a player's points and an organizer's admin role.
⚙️ How to Enable Organizer Credits
Open Season Setup → Payments & Membership → Organizer Options. Choose Tournament for submission charges, enable the payment method you intend to offer, and decide whether negative balances are allowed.
With negative balances No, an organizer needs sufficient credits to submit. With Yes, submissions can proceed into a negative balance. Verify the payment connection before offering paid packages.
💡 Key Features
In Season Options → Organizers, add organizer levels if needed, then select Add Credit Option. Choose eligible Organizer Level, private name, receipt descriptor, credit quantity, total price and Active/Inactive status.
The demo offers 1 credit for $5 or 10 credits for $40. These are example season prices. A package restricted to an Organizer Level is separate from the person's Season Role.
Set the credit charge in the relevant point option, and review it before making that option available. Use the Organizers tab to review balances and any manual credit adjustments.
🛒 How Organizers Purchase Credits
Organizers purchase available packages in the tournament's season-submission area. See Submit a Tournament. When negative balances are disabled, insufficient credits prevent submission until the balance covers the charge.
💰 Fee Breakdown for Credit Purchases
The existing Seasons fee schedule lists a Scoreholio fee of 5% of the purchase, with a $2 minimum, plus Stripe or PayPal processing fees. Check current checkout/provider terms before offering packages. See Membership Fees.
